The commercial side of the business has played an important role in the company’s growth, and much of that success can be attributed to Chris Schaap, the company’s commercial product specialist.
Today, the team at Blind Ambitions congratulates Chris Schaap on his well-earned retirement after 30 years in the industry.
Chris began his journey with Blind Ambitions as an installer; as the demand for more commercial jobs grew, the position of commercial product specialist was created specifically for Chris. Demand for commercial jobs continued to grow, and Chris rose to the occasion.
“Chris’ experience and sense of humour will be greatly missed,” said a representative for Blind Ambitions. “We’re excited for what the future will hold for him; spending time travelling with his wife Carol, fishing in all seasons, cheering on our Winnipeg sports teams, and watching over his beautiful grandson. We wish you all the best in your retirement, Chris!”
Michael Procyk is taking over the position of commercial product specialist. He has spent the last few months working with Chris to shore up his knowledge of the commercial side of the business.
“We know that our commercial wing is an incredibly detailed and complex part of our business,” said the representative from Blind Ambitions. “Michael has already proven he’s up for the challenge; he has our full support, and we look forward to this next chapter of his career!”
