OKOTOKS, AB: Infinity Paving, a paving contractor serving Calgary, Okotoks, and the surrounding area, has partnered with the Town of Okotoks to become the naming sponsor of the Green Arena, now officially the Infinity Paving Arena, in the Viking Rentals Centre, home of the Okotoks Oilers.
The newly named Infinity Paving Arena (formerly the Green Arena) is also home to Okotoks Minor Hockey, the Bow Mark U18 AAA Oilers, and the U18 AAA Raiders Female hockey team. The arena features bowl seating for 1500, 500 standing-room spaces, and a regulation NHL-sized ice rink. The arena also hosts numerous annual hockey tournaments, and community events such as the annual Remembrance Day Service, graduation, the Town’s Powwow and more.
A junior A hockey team playing in the BCHL, the Okotoks Oilers have been the pride of Okotoks since 2005. Several players from the team have gone on to successful careers in the NHL, including Brody Sutter, Corban Knight, Dylan Holloway, Rhett Gardner, Nick Blankenburg, and Jacob Bernard-Docker.

The time I spent playing junior hockey here in Alberta was formative, and I attribute much of my success to the lessons learned in the rink. Okotoks is a special town, and the Oilers are a special team; the rink is special to me personally because I’ve played there since it opened, when I was just a kid. We believe in giving back to our community, and we hope this naming sponsorship helps the people of Okotoks and the players on the team enjoy many more years of incredible hockey.”
