As across Canada there have been increases in taxes such as income, property, utilities or auto insurance, looking at the future, the spokesperson further added, ‘For the previous tax season, in April, there have been some policy updates and the Government is bound to announce additional support in other areas of taxation to offset some of the burden. For example, based on the Climate action incentive (CAI), residents of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta should have received the first quarterly payment on July 15th. The issue is that many residents are unaware of this and the fact that they need to register which means that not everyone who is in dire need of any type of relief, is receiving it. This is one of the drivers for us as Triple J and the motivating factor to providing the highest standard of services in order to identify any efficiency that could make a big difference’.
