Huk's new Waypoint Collection offers the ideal protection for both anglers and the ocean at the same time. Made primarily from recycled bottles, the Waypoint Collection features a hoodie, long sleeve shirt, 7.5" men's shorts, men's pants, and 2.5" women's shorts.
Huk has partnered with REPREVE® to incorporate recycled materials into its Waypoint line to help reduce plastic pollution. The collection will have the same unique Huk style but with an eco-friendly twist. On average, nine recycled plastic bottles are used to create one item in the Waypoint collection. The blended fabric provides flexibility and stretches while maintaining shape and fit.
The Waypoint hoodie and long sleeve shirt feature 95% recycled polyester with 5% spandex. Also, recycled yarns are used to create an environmentally sound garment without sacrificing comfort or functionality. The hoodie and long sleeve shirt feature cooling fibers that work to remove heat from the surface of the skin, keeping anglers more comfortable and on the water longer. The hood is built taller around the neck allowing for extra protection from the sun. Both hoodie and long sleeve shirt are rated 50+ UPF for ultimate protection against the sun and feature a chest pocket for storing lightweight items. The hoodie is available in men's and women's sizes.
The men's Waypoint 7.5" shorts are a perfect combination of style and comfort. The performance shorts are made from 89% recycled polyester and 11% elastane. The blended fabric provides superior stretch, mobility, and sun protection for a full day of water-filled activities. Ideal for both fresh- and saltwater fishing applications, the shorts are quick-drying and stain-resistant. The shorts are constructed with zippered back pockets to secure gear and wallets while moving around the boat. A conveniently designed plier pocket helps keep essential gear close at hand.
The women's Waypoint 2.5" shorts make for an ideal day on the water. The lightweight fabrics, blended from 71% recycled polyester, 21% cotton, and 8% spandex, provide an excellent fit and superior mobility. Ladies will appreciate the added protection from the sun as well as the quick-drying material so they can stay comfortable in both wet and dry conditions. The shorts feature both back patch pockets and front hand pockets to stow items. Ladies will be able to dress these shorts up or dress them down for a long day on the water.
For anglers who want lightweight, full-coverage protection from the sun, the Waypoint pants are an ideal choice. The pants are extremely flexible, quick-drying, and built to move with your body, and are made with 95% cotton and 5% elastane. The stain-resistant finish makes it easier to wash out stains from a hard day on the water. A plier pocket is conveniently located for ease of use. The Waypoint pants are great all around, grab and go bottoms for any occasion on or off the water.
