The scholarship worth $2,500, which opens for applications today, reflects Michael Gabelli’s longstanding belief in the power of service and community leadership. Applications must also include a current academic transcript and a resume or CV highlighting community involvement and leadership experience.

The selection process will be essay-based, with a panel evaluating applicants on the strength of their personal narrative, academic record, and demonstrated commitment to public service. The award is a one-time scholarship and is not renewable.
