Partnership gives eligible community members access to electricity savings while supporting The Arc’s Employee Emergency Fund

As electricity prices continue to rise, Altus Power, a leading commercial-scale solar power company, today announced a new partnership with The Arc of Rensselaer County to expand access to affordable, local clean energy while providing support to the organization's employees.

Through the partnership, eligible employees, members, families and supporters of The Arc can subscribe to a local community solar project and receive credits that reduce their monthly electricity costs, without any upfront investment, changes to their homes or existing utility service.

Participants who successfully complete enrollment through The Arc’s program will receive a $50 sign-on bonus. In addition, Altus will donate $50 to The Arc’s Employee Emergency Fund for every eligible enrollment, helping provide critical assistance to employees facing unexpected financial hardships.
