Grogan brings more than two decades of institutional fixed income experience, most notably serving as Co-Head of U.S. Fixed Income Trading at T. Rowe Price. In that role, he led a multi-asset trading team and partnered closely with global portfolio managers, analysts, and traders across investment grade corporates, securitized products, U.S. rates, municipals, money markets, and derivatives, while advancing electronic execution, portfolio trading, and broader market structure initiatives.

“Mike’s deep experience on the buy-side and his strong understanding of market structure and execution make him an excellent addition to our growing fixed income platform,” said Sam Ramirez Jr., Senior Managing Director.

In his role, Grogan will focus on expanding direct account coverage and strengthening client relationships, enhancing the firm’s electronic trading presence across leading platforms, and driving greater integration of client and trading data across the organization. He will also work closely with the firm’s Syndicate desk to deepen collaboration and help convert primary market relationships into sustained secondary trading activity.

“We are very pleased to welcome Mike to the team,” said Ramirez Jr. “His leadership, strategic perspective, and experience working across both traditional and electronic trading environments will be instrumental as we continue to grow our secondary and primary trading businesses.”

Prior to joining Ramirez, Grogan spent more than two decades at T. Rowe Price, where he played a key role in advancing electronic and portfolio trading workflows, strengthening broker-dealer relationships, and improving execution quality and liquidity access. He also previously worked at Genesis Global, focusing on strategic client engagement and workflow innovation.

“Ramirez has built a strong platform with a unique position in the market, and I am excited to join the team,” said Grogan. “I look forward to working closely with colleagues across the firm to expand client relationships and drive continued growth.”

Grogan holds the CFA designation and earned a Master of Science in Finance from Loyola University Maryland.
