EyeCare Partners Strengthens Executive Leadership Team with New Appointments

Changes Bring Expanded Capabilities that Underscore Company’s Aims to Enhance Vision and Advance Eye Care

EyeCare Partners, the nation’s leading provider of clinically integrated eye care, announced today new additions, bolstering its executive leadership team by adding strengthened and integrated capabilities that build on the company’s commitment to clinical leadership, organic growth and superior patient outcomes.

Appointments and changes are:

  • Andrew Hardesty has been promoted to the new role of Chief Program Officer, effective immediately. This role oversees and leads development, implementation and management of organizational transformation and effectiveness programs, acquisition integration and the Project Management Office, which ensures the successful execution of the strategic plans and subsequent value creation within EyeCare Partners. He most recently was Senior Vice President of Transformation and Integration.
  • Angela North has been named to the new role of Chief Administrative Officer, effective July 1. She will serve as a key delegate to executive leadership and across Optometry and Ophthalmology divisions and Support Center functions, facilitating decision-making, stakeholder management and strategic initiatives in support of business objectives, as well as leading strategic projects and serving as an ambassador to the Board of Directors.
  • Chief Financial Officer Joel Day has expanded responsibilities over the Information Technology function, with Jason Chaffin, Chief Technology Officer, reporting to him. This move to bring IT within the Finance organization is a strategic business decision supported by EyeCare Partners’ goals for strategic integration, budget and cost management, a focus on return on investment and metrics, and enhanced prioritization.

Hardesty has led recent transformation, enterprise value creation, and program management initiatives for EyeCare Partners, in addition to overseeing integration efforts as the company has acquired and expanded its Optometry and Ophthalmology operations. Before joining EyeCare Partners in 2020, Hardesty moved through progressively more challenging operational roles at Express Scripts, now part of Cigna Healthcare, where he was the Vice President of Home Delivery Operations, leading shared services. Before that, he worked at Maritz Inc., across software engineering, marketing, corporate development and operations as part of his more than 25 years of experience.

North brings nearly 30 years of experience in health care, across roles of increasing responsibility at Kindred Healthcare, now part of ScionHealth. Most recently, she was Vice President Enterprise Consulting, Strategic Programs, and prior to that held roles across enterprise program management, finance, clinical operations and information technology. ScionHealth operates 79 hospital campuses in 25 states, including the Kindred network of 61 long-term acute care hospitals. She has led closing, integration and change management across multiple transactions, in addition to driving multiple enterprise-wide value creation initiatives in addition to successful delivery of numerous, complex transformational enterprise-wide initiatives.
