Rebecca Katzke Joins Kleinfelder as Senior Vice President and National Water Market Manager

The Kleinfelder Group, Inc. (Kleinfelder), a leading engineering, design, construction management, construction materials inspection and testing, and environmental professional services firm, announced today that Rebecca Katzke, P.E., has joined Kleinfelder as Senior Vice President and National Water Market Manager. In this role, Katzke will drive strategic growth and business development opportunities through engineering design, environmental permitting and compliance, and construction management/inspection services to local, state, and federal water market clients across Kleinfelder’s U.S. operations.

Katzke has held multiple high-level positions throughout her 20-year career in the AEC industry. Before joining Kleinfelder, Katzke most recently served as WSP’s Vice President of Business Development and Central Gulf Coast Region Water Sector Leader, where she was responsible for developing and implementing strategy, performing business development, and managing water sector growth for the Earth & Environment business in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Illinois, Prior to WSP, Katzke served as Senior Technical Director of Atkins’s Western U.S. Water Resources Practice and supported implementation of a corporate vision to deliver annually $60M+ of high-value planning, design, engineering, and construction-related services across 13 locations.

Katzke holds a Bachelor of Science in biological systems engineering and a Master of Engineering in civil engineering from Texas A&M University. She is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Maryland, Kansas, and Illinois. She also retains certifications for Project Management Professional (PMP), Envision Sustainability Professional, PMI Organizational Transformation, Floodplain Manager – Texas, and is TxDOT Pre-certified.

As a leader within the AEC community, Katzke serves on the Board of Directors for the American Council of Engineering Companies – Central Texas Chapter. She is also an active member of: American Society of Civil Engineers – Sustainability National Committee – Corresponding Member; Association of State Floodplain Managers – Texas Association; and Water Environment Federation – Stormwater and Watershed Management National Committees and Policy, Government, and Regulation Subcommittee.
