Americas Cardroom's Moneymaker Exits WSOP Main Event as Foxen and Zamani Reach Day 5

Team representatives continue deep runs after a strong series of final-table results.

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA / ACCESS Newswire / July 10, 2026 / Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker was eliminated from Event #82, the $10,000 WSOP Main Event No-Limit Hold'em World Championship, while Americas Cardroom Pro Alex Foxen and Ambassador Martin Zamani advanced to Day 5.

Moneymaker, the 2003 WSOP Main Event champion, was one of three players eliminated simultaneously on the bubble. WSOP officially recorded him in 1,382nd place with $10,000 in recorded earnings.

Foxen completed Day 4 with 1,695,000 chips, while Zamani advanced with 545,000. With play scheduled to resume at blinds of 10,000/20,000, the stacks represent approximately 85 and 27 big blinds, respectively.

Foxen's Main Event run follows several notable results during the series. He won Event #44, the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em, defeating a 466-entry field to earn his fourth career WSOP bracelet and $594,246 in listed prize money.

He also finished sixth in Event #36, the $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em, for $522,347 and placed fourth in Event #7, the $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship, for $300,000.

Zamani recorded three fourth-place finishes during the series. He earned $445,080 in Event #70, the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, and $245,467 in Event #33, the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship.

His third fourth-place result came in the $10,000 Super Turbo Bounty event won by Foxen. Zamani collected $191,357, bringing his combined payouts from the three final-table appearances to $881,904.

Other Americas Cardroom Pros also posted significant results. Chance Kornuth finished sixth in Event #24, the $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed, for $218,091, while Chris Hunichen placed 10th in Event #36 for $211,842.

Chris Moorman reached the final table of Event #79, the $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold'em, finishing seventh for $101,900.

Foxen and Zamani will return for Day 5 with an opportunity to extend a series of strong WSOP results for the Americas Cardroom roster.
