It was in 2011 that Ms. Kenney became a market leader at Movement Mortgage LLC. Here, she was the first Black female market leader at the company and played a key role in launching the company's operation in California. Her involvement ensured that Movement Mortgage LLC could enjoy trusted relationships within the new community and established a strong presence in the minds of potential clients.

Ms. Kenney's Role at Nexa Mortgage LLC

In 2024, Ms. Kenney left Movement Mortgage LLC to return to being a loan officer at Nexa Mortgage LLC. In this role, she is responsible for gathering information on persons looking for real estate financing, as well as meeting with real estate agents, investors and anyone interested in purchasing real estate.

For her many contributions to the field of real estate finance, Ms. Kenney has received several awards and accolades. Most notably, Ms. Kenney has been honored with the Top Producer award on several occasions for consistent high performance in her area and President's Club as Market Leader. While she is proud to have received these acknowledgments, she finds the most fulfillment in helping others, especially those buying their first home.

The Impending Role of Artificial Intelligence in Real Estate

Dedicated to continuous learning, Ms. Kenney has identified artificial intelligence (AI) as a harbinger of change in her industry. She believes that many processing positions are likely to become irrelevant and automated answers will be favored over human analysis when determining loan approvals. That said, Ms. Kenney also believes that those who stay educated can utilize AI to enhance the borrower's experience.
