Orange Cyberdefense, part of the giant Orange Telecommunications Group, announces partnership to deploy new advanced penetration testing powered by Prism Platform

The increasing cyberthreat landscape is pushing more and more companies toward heightened security awareness. Ransomware, phishing, and web application attacks are just a few of the growing list of criminal activities that face businesses around the world today.

A recent 2022 report from US consultants ThoughtLab highlighted the fact that material security breaches in organizations increased by a whopping 20.5% from 2020 to 2021, with almost a third of interviewed CEOs admitting that their companies are unprepared for the rapidly changing threat landscape.
The problem is especially acute for large scale customers, whose operations may span different countries and time zones, and who therefore have built a siloed approach to cyber security. Many of the most successful cybersecurity attacks occur during down periods or using time-zone blackouts to mask the activity until it’s too late.
The report went on to say that over the next two years, security executives expect attacks from ransomware using social engineering to increase as ‘nation-states and cybercriminals become more prolific.’ This is compounded by the fact that a full 44% of the 1,200 executives polled said that their growing use of partners and suppliers exposed them to significant security risks.
