Super Purposes™ celebrates Pride 2022 with a one-of-a-kind online course made by and for transgender and gender non-conforming folks to learn how to get a job where they are honored! This course will help them navigate the complexities of the career search experience.
There has been a lack of LGBTQ+ focused career search programs, and our “How to Get a Job in 12 Weeks!” course guides participants through such challenges as managing multiple names while in the process of changing one’s official names on various legal documents, providing innovative ways to approach connecting with people on LinkedIn, and utilizing sensible methods for appearing at interviews that are true to one’s genuine self.
The online course features include 36 jam-packed videos, mock interviews, salary negotiation tips, elevator pitch scenarios, and a private, supportive network of over 500+ professionals. Priced at $199, this premium course is an investment in one’s career, with unlimited access forever. The program was created to fill a critical void in the job space while continuing its quest to raise awareness about job discrimination in the LGBTQ+ communities. Super Purposes partnered with trans icon Mac McGregor to create this course.
Mac McGregor (he/him/his) is a transgender activist and educator based out of Seattle, WA. With over 35 years experience, he served as the first trans person on Seattle City Council, runs his own successful radio show, You Can Make A Difference, and is a board member of various LGBTQ+ causes, including PFLAG and the Seattle Counseling Center. He is a Super Mentor and created this online course with Super Purposes.
