Recent SB 160 passage gives schools opportunity to book safe, reliable rides

As schools across Louisiana face ongoing transportation challenges — from chronic absenteeism to bus driver shortages — HopSkipDrive’s technology and network of highly vetted caregivers on wheels provides a proven supplement to traditional yellow school buses.

Today, HopSkipDrive is proud to support more than 10,000 schools nationwide, particularly for students experiencing homelessness, in foster care, or with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), who often need more individualized transportation solutions.

Addressing Critical Transportation Challenges

The timing of HopSkipDrive’s expansion to Louisiana comes at an important moment for the state’s education landscape. Like many states, Louisiana schools are working to address transportation gaps, from Orleans Parish to Baton Rouge.
