Schebler Heating and Air has announced the introduction of furnace repair services in Moline, Illinois. The expansion is part of a broader evaluation of service demand across the Quad Cities and reflects a response to heating system repair needs identified within the community.
Moline, one of the largest cities in the Quad Cities region, is home to a wide mix of historic neighborhoods, mid-century residences, and new housing developments. This variety in infrastructure has created a broad range of service needs for heating systems, from older furnaces requiring significant repair to newer systems needing adjustments. Internal service reviews conducted by Schebler Heating and Air indicated that furnace-related requests from Moline had grown steadily, contributing to the decision to formally introduce repair services in the area.
“Moline presented a consistent pattern of furnace repair requests during our review,” said Lance McDanel, spokesperson for Schebler Heating and Air. “The decision to expand services here was based on that data.”
The rollout of furnace repair services includes allocating additional technician hours for Moline, restructuring dispatch routes to incorporate the city efficiently, and preparing service vehicles with the parts and tools most commonly associated with furnace repair calls. These changes were intended to ensure that operations reflect the types of repair scenarios most often encountered in the community.
Service records showed a recurring set of issues, including systems struggling with inconsistent heating, frequent cycling, ignition difficulties, and reduced airflow. Many of these issues were found in older neighborhoods where equipment had reached or exceeded its expected lifespan. At the same time, newer residential developments in Moline generated requests for system calibration, maintenance, or component-specific repairs.
Commercial properties contributed to the review as well. Office spaces, retail locations, and multi-unit buildings in Moline reported furnace concerns that differed from single-family homes. These systems, often larger and more complex, required a different approach in terms of technician preparation and parts availability.
To measure the effectiveness of the new service, Schebler Heating and Air is monitoring internal performance indicators such as appointment scheduling, service completion rates, and the frequency of follow-up visits. The company plans to use this information to assess whether additional operational adjustments will be necessary as furnace repair services become established in Moline.
McDanel explained that the expansion into Moline is part of an ongoing process to evaluate service needs across the region. “Each community in the Quad Cities presents its own profile of system age and repair requests,” he said. “Moline was one of the cities where furnace repair stood out as a clear priority.”
The city’s combination of older residential infrastructure and newer development made it a unique case during the evaluation. Historic properties often generated repair calls tied to aging equipment, while newer housing developments were more likely to produce service requests related to system performance adjustments. Both types of needs underscored the value of introducing dedicated furnace repair services in the community.
As part of a larger initiative, Schebler Heating and Air continues to review service call data from other Quad Cities communities to determine whether similar operational changes may be warranted. Each evaluation focuses on system age distribution, technician workload, and the frequency of specific service requests.
The addition of furnace repair services in Moline represents a targeted response to documented demand. By aligning operations with local conditions, the company aims to adapt its approach to the distinct characteristics of each community it serves.
