Increasing your SUM coverage to $100,000 costs roughly $60–$120/year for a typical driver with a normal record. $250,000 SUM coverage is roughly $100–$200/year, and a $1 million SUM policy, which can be the difference between full compensation and a dead-end settlement, typically adds just $150 to $300 annually. "Insurance companies don't tell people about this when they're getting their policy," he said. "Everyone who's reading this needs to look at their insurance declaration sheet and see if they have SUM coverage."

A Law Firm Built to Stay Small

Sullivan and Sullivan LLP is a two-attorney firm by design. Robert and his brother and partner Brian Sullivan have intentionally kept the firm that way for over 25 years, a deliberate contrast to the high-volume billboard firms that dominate personal injury advertising.
