FALLS CHURCH, VA / ACCESS Newswire / October 1, 2026 / Integration Technologies Group, Inc. (ITG), a CMMC Level 2 certified federal systems integrator, today announced the general availability of SENTRE (Secure Enterprise Resource), a turnkey Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 compliance solution for defense contractors that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

SENTRE is not a software product. It is a managed service that delivers the four elements a contractor needs to reach a Level 2 assessment: the hardware stack, the software platform, the compliance documentation package, and the operational processes and people to run them. Contractors inherit a proven, pre-configured environment from day one instead of building one control at a time.

"CMMC must be achievable, predictable, and operationally sustainable for real federal contractors," said Michael P. Angelakis, Chief Executive Officer of ITG. "SENTRE is the environment ITG built to earn its own Level 2 certification, packaged so that a contractor can stand it up, operate it, and walk into a C3PAO assessment with the evidence already generated."

What SENTRE Includes

Hardware. A dedicated CUI enclave deployed on premises, comprising servers, networking equipment and the CUI boundary hardware, plus hardened CUI laptops and workstations with endpoint protection, full-disk encryption and secure enclave connectivity. Segmented networks and managed identity and access are configured to NIST SP 800-171. The contractor owns the hardware, and CUI never leaves the facility. An externally managed deployment model is also available.

Software. SENTRE integrates ITG's CENTRE (Common Enterprise Resource) platform as the system of record for the CUI environment, with seven operational modules:

  • Contract Management, covering the full federal award and purchase order lifecycle
  • Change Management, with structured approvals, impact analysis and traceability for every configuration change
  • IT Service Management, with incident, event and request handling and SLA tracking
  • Document and Records Control, a version-controlled repository holding the System Security Plan (SSP) and all CMMC Level 2 artifacts
  • Human Resources, with DCAA-compliant timesheet management for CUI-related work
  • Supply Chain Management, with vendor and inventory lifecycle visibility
  • Centralized logging, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and backup, continuity and recovery processes are built in, so compliance evidence is generated automatically during normal operations rather than assembled before an assessment.

Documentation. The compliance package includes CUI scope and boundary definition, documented CUI data flows, the System Security Plan, the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), policies and procedures, role-based access and governance records, and a Shared Responsibility Matrix that states which of the 110 practices ITG operates and which remain with the contractor.

Assessment readiness. The ITG methodology runs in five phases (workflow configuration; users, roles and governance; system configuration and CUI workstations; training, utilization and monitoring; documentation and assessment readiness) and reaches readiness in under five months with minimal internal workload for the Organization Seeking Certification. The final deliverable is an evidence package organized for the C3PAO: an SSP that matches the live environment, extracted and labeled audit logs, change and incident records, training documentation, vulnerability scans and configuration baselines. ITG coordinates with the contractor's chosen C3PAO through the assessment and provides continuous monitoring afterward, with a defined path toward Level 3 controls.

Built on ITG's Own Certification

ITG holds a CMMC Final Level 2 certification, assessed by a C3PAO on December 16, 2025, covering all 110 NIST SP 800-171 practices at enterprise scope. The company is a CMMC Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO) and holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 certifications, and CMMI-DEV and CMMI-SVC Maturity Level 3 appraisals. Its accounting system has been audited by DCAA.

Availability

SENTRE is available now to Department of War contractors and subcontractors preparing for CMMC Level 2 assessment. Briefings, the SENTRE white paper and the Shared Responsibility Matrix are available at https://cmmc.itgonline.com.
