Tigercomm celebrates two decades of community engagement breakthroughs and communications success for over 170 renewable energy companies

Tigercomm has broken several barriers to community opposition to renewable energy. Embold Research's VP of Growth Robin Pressman, and Tigercomm's President and Founder Mike Casey, underwrote the first-ever poll of rural Americans' views of renewable energy. Tigercomm's Director of Community Engagement, Ayelet Hines, conducted in-depth interviews with 26 developers across 18 diverse companies to hear about their experiences with community opposition. Both findings were presented at the largest clean energy trade show in North America, RE+ 2023.
In a three-week sprint, Tigercomm helped power system engineering and consulting firm Electric Power Engineers (EPE) double their RE+ booth traffic goals, resulting in almost 40 qualified leads. The team also helped solar tracker company Nextracker plan and execute a media relations strategy for seven factory openings over two years, achieving 30 GW of annual domestic solar tracker capacity. Insulation company ROCKWOOL opened a new $250 insulation factory, even in the face of aggressive opposition, because Tigercomm engaged supportive community members and launched an effective Facebook strategy.
