Acme United Corporation Announces Good Design Award

Acme United Corporation (AMEX:ACU) today announced that it has won a GOOD DESIGN award from the Chicago Athenaeum: Musuem of Architecture and Design for its Clauss® Brand SpeedPakTM Utility Knife.

SpeedPak is a highly innovative cartridge-based utility knife that permits changing blades simply and quickly with just the press of a button. SpeedPak represents an expansion into the utility knife market that leverages Acme Uniteds cutting expertise and patented Titanium BondedTM franchise.

GOOD DESIGN is the oldest and one of the most important design competitions worldwide. This year the Museum received hundreds of submissions from over 25 countries and selected the SpeedPak Utility Knife as one of the recipients of this prestigious award.
