By: PRLog
Four-time Blues Music Award nominee celebrates the launch of his first solo album in 12 years, "Back in Business," on Nola Blue Records and a sneak preview screening of the documentary film "Ask Me How I Feel: The Incredible Life and Music of Frank Bey" (expected release: 2019).
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Aug. 30, 2018 - PRLog -- Nola Blue Records recording artist Frank Bey, The Southern Gentleman of the Blues, is Back in Business again with his first solo, soul blues album in 12 years.  Featuring songs written and produced by two-time Grammy winner and Buddy Guy's legendary producer Tom Hambridge and recorded in Nashville's Warner Brothers Studio with an all-star band, Frank brings his amazing 10-piece blues band to the Uptown Theater for a performance that will inspire, entertain and rock the room.  Recorded as part of the feature documentary film about Frank's life and music, "Ask Me How I Feel: The Incredible Life and Music of Frank Bey," the songs from "Back in Business" create a musical picture that paints images from Frank's life and experiences.

This special evening with Frank Bey and Company will be a night long to be remembered.  A feature of the evening will include a sneak preview screening of select scenes from "Ask Me How I Feel" as well as a chance to appear in the documentary.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available which include a pre-show wine and cheese Meet & Greet with the president of Nola Blue Records, Frank's label, and the director and producers of the documentary film, plus an autographed "Back in Business" CD.  Order your tickets today, for the best seat selection!

Having carved out a fan base that extends from the Bay Area in California to Switzerland, Italy, Germany and beyond, Frank has garnered both fan adulation and critical approval throughout his fifty year career.  His smooth baritone vocals and razor-sharp showmanship consistently delight and inspire his audiences.  Alligator Records recording artist Rick Estrin (& The Nightcats) notes, "In a time when American Idol-type vocal gymnastics too often pass for soul, Frank Bey is a perfect reminder of what soul singing is really all about: communication, warmth and emotional sincerity."
