Dabbledark to Release New Blood-and-Gore-Inspired Meat Market Collection for Winter 2018

Silicone prosthetic flat moulds of hyper-real injury simulations to satisfy even the most seasoned gore lover!

SYDNEY - May 21, 2018 - (Newswire.com)

Designer or “wound engineer,” as she calls herself, Leah Trindall from Dabbledark is releasing the brand new Meat Market Collection with all 10 products individually made by the designer herself. The Meat Market Collection will be released on June 1, 2018.

Dabbledark is known for making flat moulds to help other special effects make-up artists save valuable time and money. With all the sculpting and moulding pre-work done, artists can get straight to work, running and customising their own prosthetic pieces over and over again.

“Not every make-up artist has the time or patience for sculpting or moulding, so that’s where I fit in,” says Leah. “I love making flat moulds. They are the gift that keeps on giving and they are a great investment for any special effects make-up artist looking to upgrade from out-of-kit effects. It’s much cheaper to run your own prosthetics, per unit, than to buy them from another artist.”

Thus, for the first time, Leah has created an entire product line of her favourite and most popular cuts and lacerations. The new Meat Market Collection is scheduled to go live on June 1, 2018.

The collection will be exclusively sold online from etsy.com where the limited products are expected to sell out by the end of the season.

The moulds are designed to showcase realism with fat and muscle textures to create an illusion to fool the viewer. Each mould is made from durable silicone that will last for years, giving the artist value for their money, long after the mould has paid for itself.

“It’s hard to pick a favourite mould from this collection, but I have a soft spot for my necrotic ulcer,” says Leah. “Although not as big or bloody as the others, it has a subtle effect that might make you dry-heave when you see the prosthetic applied with just the right amount of synthetic pus.”

The Meat Market Collection ranges in price from $60 to $500.

Leah is excited to welcome her fellow “Dabblers” to her new handmade collection.

About Dabbledark

Leah Trindall started designing ready-to-use silicone flat moulds in response to the positive feedback and requests she received for other special effects make-up artists who didn’t have the time to make their own moulds. Leah solves this problem by offering a range of flat moulds that are well-designed, cost-effective and easy-to-use. After many months of creating flat moulds by hand, Leah’s products started gaining notoriety in the special effects make-up industry.
