Meeting ASTM standards is a key step forward towards the commercialization of the Company’s recently acquired BiodieselMaster product line.
ASTM International was formed in 1898 in the United States as the American Society for Testing and Materials by a group of scientists and engineers. Today, ASTM International supports thousands of technical committees, which draw their members from around the world and collectively maintain more than 12,000 standards. ASTM defines the minimum requirements for biodiesel quality sold in the United States in the standard ASTM 6751.

After intensive internal development and field testing the Company has now proven its novel process technology for continuous biodiesel production. The process incorporates an elegant way to recover methanol internally while ensuring complete reaction. These techniques enable the system to meet the four key ASTM fuel quality parameters of Free & Total Glycerin (reaction completion), Flash Point (methanol content), Sulfated Ash (soap content) and Moisture (water content). The technology used to achieve these specs is the foundation of the BiodieselMaster system which uses web-based automation to simplify the operation and minimize labor.
