Merkel ally leaves option open of arming PKK

BERLIN (Reuters) - A senior ally of German Chancellor Angela Merkel has left open the possibility of arming the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) as part of efforts to defeat Islamic State (IS) militants.
