The brand initially started as a hobby he stated. Hamrick had plans to one day open a training and recovery facility that would specialize in equipment for wounded soldiers; however, his shirts became an immediate hit with friends and local customers, prompting him to launch Combat Iron Apparel fully in 2018. With its fitness and patriotic style designs and hardcore motivational sayings, the brand gained a large following across the country and social media. Now, Combat Iron Apparel Co. is one of the fastest growing and most recognized patriotic lifestyle brands in this market.
