Editorial Freelancers Association Exhibits Virtually at FOLD 2022

BRAMPTON, Ontario - April 21, 2022 - PRLog -- The Editorial Freelancers Association will be exhibiting once again at the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) May 1 – May 7. Stop by our virtual booth and learn more about the benefits of EFA membership or about hiring the right freelancer for your project through our Member Directory and Job List!

"We are very happy to be part of FOLD again this year," says Amy Spungen, EFA Events chairperson. "The EFA is committed to supporting diversity in publishing and we commend the FOLD Foundation for their work. This festival is a great opportunity to bring together writers from all backgrounds."

The Festival of Literary Diversity, which is virtual this year, was founded by Canadian author Jael Richardson as a venue devoted to underrepresented authors and storytellers. FOLD 2022 will feature more than 40 writers and offer more than 25 workshops, panels, and interactive events. Festival participants will also have access to the Writer's Hub, a virtual networking event. The Rose Theatre in Brampton, Ontario, will host a few in-person events to complement the festival.

Founded in 1970, the Editorial Freelancers Association is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators, and others who work in publishing, communications, and related fields.

The EFA has garnered praise from publishing pros like Jane Friedman and Louise Harnby and is frequently listed as a valuable resource for authors on sites including Poets & Writers, BookBub, Publishers Weekly, Poynter, and the Chicago Manual of Style blog.

"The Editorial Freelancers Association just might be the book publishing industry's most powerful secret weapon …" – Publishers Weekly
