CHICAGO - Sept. 15, 2026 - PRLog -- The Volare Air Group has formally secured a partnership with the Italian investment group Caltagirone S.p.A. for a 25 % equity stake in Northeast Airlines and Travel, Inc. The deal was ratified during the course of the Labor Day holiday and will become effective once all corporate and financial governance is complete. The terms of this transaction are not normally disclosed, but broad strokes of the transaction will be highlighted in the coming days ahead through additional releases by mutual parties.
Caltagirone S.p.A. maintains holdings in print and broadcast media, shipping, construction engineering, as well as transportation and concrete, and will support growth for the brand into future expansion of international travel as well through various European destinations to be determined.
Chicago based Volare Air Group is the parent holding company of the Northeast brand, and other divisional assets as well involving services and technology in the air transportation industry.
