Designed to improve space usage and worker ergonomics, Bradford Systems’ vertical lift modules can free up to 90% of a warehouse’s available floor space while increasing safety, security, and picking accuracy. The customizable storage system is also fully automated, allowing for increased productivity and a reduction in labor costs.

The standard Modula Lift is a versatile storage solution that has seen usage worldwide for over 20 years, and it is suitable for a variety of industrial settings. Bradford Systems also offers other options, including the compact Modula Sintes1, which is intended for small to medium-sized items, and the Modula OneTon, which is recommended for heavier items. Additionally, the company can install specially made units for specific environments, including clean room modules for settings that require hygienic conditions, climate-controlled modules for products or materials with specific temperature or humidity requirements, and modules designed specifically for firefighting.

Regardless of the product chosen, the units can be customized to suit a number of applications, allowing for heights of 16 m and higher. Bradford Systems can provide customers with vertical lifts with external bays, internal bays, single and double bays, and multilevel bays, the latter of which can be installed into multi-storey warehouses. Trays range from 1500 mm to 4100 mm and can be built to carry payloads of up to 990 kg; customers can also request cranes, robots, picking carts, and other accessories to improve workflow.

Furthermore, because items stored in the vertical lift modules can only be accessed by operators with authentication passwords, they will be protected from theft or damage. Users can manage the required information and control stock levels and inventory movement using Modula’s end-to-end warehouse management system and cloud. This software is compatible with most operating systems, allowing clients to easily integrate the entire storage system into their existing ERP or DMS.
