New store creates 166 jobs and brings fresh food, pharmacy services, fuel and everyday value to the growing community

Walmart today celebrated the grand opening of its newest Neighborhood Market in Crestview, Fla., bringing customers a new destination for fresh groceries, everyday essentials, pharmacy services and more, alongside a daylong community celebration featuring local organizations, culinary experiences and live entertainment.

Crestview Grand Opening

Located on the north side of Crestview, the new 48,585-square-foot store was designed around the needs of local customers, with fresh and convenient food options and flexible ways to shop. The new Neighborhood Market also creates 166 jobs in the community and marks Walmart’s seventh new Florida store opening since September 2025.

Built Around How Customers Shop Today

The Crestview Neighborhood Market offers a convenient, easy-to-shop experience designed around how customers shop today. Customers can shop in-store, through pickup or delivery, including Express Delivery in as little as 30 minutes.

The store’s next-generation design features wider aisles, clear signage and a streamlined checkout experience to help customers save time on everyday shopping trips.

Fresh food is at the center of the shopping experience, with products including sushi prepared in-store, fresh-cut fruit, ready-to-eat meals, deli selections and fresh tortillas. Customers will also find a full grocery assortment, expanded household essentials, floral services and custom cake decorating.

The store's pharmacy provides convenient access to healthcare services, including prescription delivery, immunizations, medication counseling and consultations, and test-and-treat options for select conditions.

Celebrating With the Crestview Community

The grand opening celebration brought together local leaders, community organizations and performers throughout the morning. Crestview High School’s band, cheer squad and JROTC participated in the opening festivities, alongside culinary experiences featuring local and national chefs.

The celebration continues throughout the day with an appearance by three-time Olympian and Crestview-area resident Mia Manganello and will culminate in a performance by multi-platinum artist Niko Moon and a special recognition of local military families.

Investing in Crestview and Florida

The new store continues Walmart’s investment in Florida. Over the past five years, Walmart has invested more than $1.5 billion in stores across the state, with 58 stores planned for remodels in 2026.

“We’re excited to welcome Walmart Neighborhood Market to the north side of Crestview,” said Mayor J.B. Whitten. “This is something our growing community has needed, and it will give residents a convenient place to shop close to home.”

Walmart also celebrated the associates behind the new store, including six associates who together bring more than 150 years of Walmart experience.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Walmart awarded $18,500 in grants to six local organizations: Together We Thrive; Gulf Coast Council, Boy Scouts of America; Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless; Saving Grace Women’s Home Florida; Crestview Police Foundation Inc.; and Crestview High School Band.
