Media and technology executive to shape the next generation of client solutions as broadcast, Pro-AV and digital experiences continue to converge

Diversified, a global leader in audiovisual, broadcast and digital experience integration, today announced the appointment of Pete Emminger as global chief technology officer. Emminger will lead the company’s global go-to-market technology strategy, helping clients anticipate market shifts, strengthen technical capabilities and navigate an increasingly connected technology landscape.

The appointment comes as media, collaboration, workplace technology and digital experiences become more deeply embedded in how organizations operate, communicate and engage their audiences. Emminger will work across Diversified’s business to connect emerging technologies with practical client needs, while helping shape the company’s technical direction, strategic partnerships and future solutions.

Emminger brings more than two decades of experience leading technology strategy, product development and transformation across media, entertainment, live production and sports.

Most recently, he served as global chief technology officer at NEP Group, where he led the evolution of the company’s service and product offerings, including the development of new software products. His work included aligning technology investments with business priorities, increasing development velocity and focusing resources on solutions with the greatest potential to support customers and long-term growth.

Emminger has also advised established technology providers, early-stage companies and financial institutions on product strategy, adjacent market opportunities, service models and commercial transformation.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Activision Blizzard, where he helped launch the Call of Duty League, establish a major esports production studio and build a profitable new business unit. He also contributed to the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s transition to IP-based broadcast technology, leading teams that delivered the technology solutions including the development of new software products that improved resilience, redundancy and efficiency across global broadcast delivery.
