Aaron Chapman earns national recognition for championing asbestos victims
Dean Omar Branham Shirley trial attorney Aaron Chapman, who has been involved in several talc litigation victories during his time with the firm, is a repeat honoree for the 2025 Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation legal guide.
Mr. Chapman, a longtime Dallas resident, was recognized for his work in plaintiff litigation by Lawdragon, which annually spotlights the nation’s top young attorneys in several practice areas.
“We appreciate that Lawdragon has included Aaron on their list,” said Trey Branham. “He is an instrumental part of our team, and we appreciate the passionate work he does for our clients every day.”
Most recently, Mr. Chapman was part of a DOBS trial team that won an $8 million verdict in Suffolk County, Mass., on behalf of a woman who developed mesothelioma after decades of using Johnson & Johnson’s (NYSE: JNJ) talcum powder products.
Mr. Chapman also has been involved in asbestos litigation in South Carolina and other states and in 2021 helped obtain the largest asbestos-related personal injury verdict in Nevada.
“Focus on profits above all else has left many employees and contractors sick and injured and many more families broken,” Mr. Chapman said. “My motivation is to help those injured and their families see justice, and I appreciate the recognition from Lawdragon for my efforts.”
Lawdragon uses nominations, independent research and peer recommendations to select what it describes as the emerging generation of top lawyers. It says honorees display “eyes turned toward the future and an undiminished belief in the opportunity each of them has to make an impact in their chosen field of expertise.”
