Melbourne, FL — February14, 2023, Christian Care Ministry, the nation’s most trusted health care sharing ministry, honors Dr. Alieta Eck for the work she has done during her 14-year tenure on the Board of Directors.

Dr. Eck has served on multiple committees during her tenure, but her primary focus was the Board’s Medi-Share Committee, which she chaired from 2018 to 2020. She was also instrumental in governing a very productive Member Steering Committee during some challenging times in Medi-Share’s history. She is widely respected by many of our members for being a strong advocate for transparency, fairness, and the overall advantages of healthcare sharing.

I have enjoyed working closely with Dr. Eck over the last four years. Her knowledge of the Medi-Share program and her commitment to her fellow Medi-Share members is commendable, but it is her heart for the patient and what they experience that has brought us incredible insight as we seek to serve the Medi-Share members as the Lord would require. I wish Dr. Eck well as she continues the good work of helping the underserved in her community,” said Scott Reddig, CEO of Christian Care Ministry/Medi-Share.

Dr. Eck and her husband John have decided to focus even more attention on their private practice, which is based on helping families who need it the most. In 2003, they founded The Zarephath Health Center in New Jersey, a free clinic for the poor and uninsured that currently cares for 300-400 patients a month utilizing the donated services of volunteer physicians and nurses. Dr. Eck is a beacon of light in the healthcare industry.

Please join me in congratulating and praying for our friend as she pursues an even bigger impact with her purposeful practice. She is a wonderful person who, alongside her husband John, has stewarded over a beautiful family. We have been greatly blessed while serving alongside her,” said Joe Turner, CCM Chairman of the Board.
