MEMPHIS, TN / ACCESS Newswire / July 23, 2026 / Trigon Sports, a leading manufacturer and distributor of premium athletic equipment, including baseball equipment, announced the acquisition of Proper Pitch, Inc., headquartered in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. The acquisition expands Trigon Sports' portfolio to include Proper Pitch's full line of American-made baseball pitching mounds and training aids.

Proper Pitch has been a trusted producer of American-made pitching mounds, including portable pitching mounds, practice mounds, and game mounds, since the mid-1990s, and has operated under the ownership of Glen Passner since 2002. Under Mr. Passner's leadership, the company achieved significant growth and established itself as a premier manufacturer of baseball pitching mounds and training aids, earning the trust of youth leagues, high school programs, collegiate coaches, and professional organizations across the country.

Manufacturing Consolidation at Memphis Facility

Following the acquisition, Trigon Sports will transition all manufacturing operations of Proper Pitch products to its Memphis, Tennessee facility. This consolidation will enable Trigon Sports to enhance production efficiency while maintaining the same level of quality and craftsmanship that customers have come to expect from the Proper Pitch brand.
