Describe a user journey in plain English or Gherkin and get reusable Playwright code.

WASHINGTON, D.C. / ACCESS Newswire / July 23, 2026 / Ice Tea Group LLC today announced TestVibe, an AI testing platform that turns a plain-English description of a user journey into working Playwright code and runs it in isolated cloud sandboxes. TestVibe is now in early access.

Modern web applications update the DOM continuously through real-time state synchronization, server-driven rendering, and components that appear only when their data arrives. Conventional test scripts race against them. The result is flaky tests that fail for reasons unrelated to the code, suites that cost more to maintain than they save, and teams that stop trusting a red build.

Ice Tea Group developed the platform against a demanding first case: its own. The company makes Wisej.NET, which builds applications that update in real time and are driven from the server, giving them desktop-grade responsiveness over the web. Test automation designed around static page loads has not kept pace with that class of application. TestVibe works with any web application regardless of the technology behind it, from modern SPA frameworks to traditional server-rendered architectures.

Users describe what to check in plain English, record themselves clicking through a flow in their own browser, or point the AI at a URL and let it explore the application and propose what is worth testing. Teams that connect a source repository can also point TestVibe at the code itself, where it infers the application's functional areas from source, maps existing tests to the code they exercise, and ranks what is untested first. Everything lands as Gherkin feature files. An AI agent then generates Playwright code inside an isolated cloud sandbox, probes the running application, and revises the script until it passes against the live app.

The output is standard Playwright code that engineers can read, review, and own. Once generated, tests run as ordinary Playwright, versioned in Git and executed without any per-run AI cost.

The platform also includes load testing, which replays the same feature journeys as concurrent browser users or drives protocol-level k6 traffic with ramp stages and pass/fail threshold gates; live application telemetry, which streams CPU, memory, sessions, threads, and GC heap from .NET or Node applications while a test runs; secure tunneling, which allows cloud sandboxes to reach staging environments on localhost or behind a VPN; and two-way synchronization of test files with GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

TestVibe will be available as a managed cloud service, with first-party AI included and no API keys required from the customer. A self-hosted edition will ship as containers for Docker Compose or Kubernetes, will run air-gapped, and will support customer-supplied AI endpoints for teams with data-residency or compliance requirements.
