NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK / ACCESS Newswire / January 13, 2026 / JRM Construction Management is proud to announce the completion of a comprehensive facility expansion for The School of American Ballet (SAB) at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in Manhattan. SAB's new Artistic Health and Wellness Student Center sits within 5,300 square feet of newly acquired space one floor above the school's existing headquarters in the Samuel B. and David Rose Building at 70 Lincoln Center Plaza and will support SAB's growing programmatic needs for supporting student health and wellbeing within the heart of one of the world's premier performing arts campuses.

The Artistic Health and Wellness Student Center includes a strength and conditioning studio and a dedicated Pilates studio to provide intermediate and advanced students with access to specialized training environments for enhancing performance, improving technique, and supporting physical wellness. As part of the build-out, JRM also constructed a new internal feature staircase that directly links the school's fifth-floor reception area to the sixth floor, creating an intuitive and seamless connection between levels.

The new student center also includes a welcoming student commons area for relaxation and socializing, quiet study rooms, a pantry, and ADA-compliant restrooms, creating a balanced environment that supports both academic focus and day-to-day comfort. JRM additionally delivered staff offices and physical therapy suites, ensuring that students have on-site access to essential resources, from personalized instruction to recovery and wellness services.
