DESCRIPTION:

In cooperation with the Istituto Europeo di Design, the CNH Industrial Industrial Design team launched the initiative "Design a New Holland Tractor of the future", challenging students to transform the design of a conventional tractor using new technology and sustainable materials. The participants, divided into groups, were students from Italy, India, United States, China, Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey.

The Final Presentation was held at the CNH Industrial Village in Turin, and the winning project "Desert Bee" was selected in conjunction between New Holland Agriculture, a global agricultural brand of CNH Industrial, together with the Industrial Design team.

The project enabled the students to gain first-hand knowledge of how an industrial design team works, and it also enabled CNH Industrial to gain inspiration from their different approaches to design.
