DESCRIPTION:

Illumina interns put our culture of giving back into action with their social impact projects this summer. Embedding CSR into how we do business even translates to our intern program! America region interns were put into teams and paired with one of our nonprofit partners to support them with a skills-based volunteering project. Our interns collectively contributed over 800 hours this summer to the following organizations: Black Girls Do Stem, MPN Research Foundation, KIF1A.ORG, GeoHazards International, Coming Up Rosies, Goodie Nation, Mowat-Wilson Syndrome Foundation, gdi, San Diego Squared, The Clearity Foundation, Malan Syndrome Foundation and Scientella!
