Simon Carr is a 46-year-old man from Blackburn in the UK. Diagnosed at 15 with severe dyslexia, his dreams of becoming a science fiction writer were almost dashed, but after much work and the help of modern technology, he wrote his first sci-fi novel in 2019. Since then, he has written an additional 25 books, garnering seven writing awards in the process.
