City makes $12.3 million South Sacramento land purchase for homeless parking, affordable housing

Mayor Darrell Steinberg and Councilmember Mai Vang announced Friday morning that the city has purchased 102 acres of surplus federal land in South Sacramento that it will use in its effort to shelter people experiencing homelessness.
