On October 29, 2008, International Coal Group, Inc. (“ICG”) issued an earnings release reporting its financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2008. A copy of the earnings release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto. On October 29, 2008, ICG also posted the earnings release on its web site at www.intlcoal.com.
