Item 8.01. Other Events and Required FD Disclosure.

On November 30, 2004, RITA Medical Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“RITA”), announced the market introduction of its Intelliflow® peristaltic pump for use with the Company’s Starburst ® XLIe family of radiofrequency ablation probes. A copy of RITA’s press release announcing this introduction is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
