Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Jan 18, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - What began as an interest in pinball machines for Charles Acosta, owner of Pinball Photos, LLC, has turned into a profession photographing the machines. He's the only known photographer that focuses entirely on pinball machines, obtaining unique and innovative closeups that are highly-regarded by pinball enthusiasts and aficionados around the globe. The photos were responsible for creating a revolution in how the pinball industry launches their new creations to the market.

"The photos I saw of pinball machines when I started back in 2017 were basic, ordinary, and disappointing," said Acosta. "There was no color, no concept, no detail or emotion. It wasn't art and this was happening throughout the entire pinball industry."

Acosta immigrated in 2003 from the Dominican Republic where pinball machines are non-existent. Discovering his first pinball machine in the U.S. began a life-long love affair with the bright lights and sounds of the games. The entrepreneur successfully combined his photographic artistry with a passion for pinball machines that resulted in the launch of Pinball Photos, LLC in 2017.

He credits Jersey Jack Pinball, founded by Jack Guarneri, with helping him launch a photo revolution through a photoshoot. The company has launched several innovations within the same industry. Some of their most influential creations are found in their first game, The Wizard of Oz, a game that has been instrumental in establishing new standards within the pinball industry by utilizing RGB lighting and a 26" LCD monitor in the back glass instead of a DMD screen.

In 2018, Acosta's talent also earned him an early look at the company's new Pirates of the Caribbean pinball machine designed by Eric Meunier when he did a photo shoot for the new offering. Acosta's photographic techniques created a new standard within the industry.

Pinball machine photos are now an essential step in the launch of a new game with images that capture the excitement of the game in an entirely new way. Other pinball manufacturers have been influenced by Acosta's techniques and their images are now bringing the world "under glass" to their customers.

"Without the help of Jersey Jack Pinball, this would never have become a reality," said Acosta. "This is a company that recognizes innovation and supports talent. My images are pieces of art that have now graced several publications such as Forbes, Kerrang! and Louder."

Acosta has accrued an impressive gallery of images from pinball machines ranging from the 1950s and 1960s to the present. Pinball Photos, LLC offers a myriad of framed and unframed pinball photography selections. The company also offers a variety of items encompassing nightlights, throws, coasters and placemats, and phone cases featuring a pinball motif.
