Albuquerque, Nov 5, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Team Tapia well known for thrilling fight cards, along with Tapia & Sanchez Promotions brings a highly anticipated Saturday Fight Night event in Mexico. On the main card is WBC FecarBox Champion & ABF Featherweight Champion Abel Mendoza going up against Welterweight Pro-Fighter Carlos Mohamed Rodriguez. Prelims include Mid American Lightweight contender Deonte Brown, Super lightweight Leonel De los Santos, Lovanny Arzate, Daniel Bailey Jr., Catherine Auira, TJ Livingston, and more!
Night of Champions will take place Saturday, November 7, 2020, at El Poliforo, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico. Prelims will start approximately 8 pm ET/ 6 pm PT and main card by 10 pm ET/ 8 pm PT. Team Tapia and Tapia Promotions are run by Boxing Promoter Teresa Tapia. Her last big event in early 2020 in New Mexico, featured Austin Trout, Big Zo Butler, and Abel Mendoza. Key highlights on Teresa Tapia include receiving the West Coast Boxing Hall of Fame Award set for March 2021, in honor of her husband, the legendary, six-time world champion Johnny Tapia, whom she managed during their marriage before his passing. Also recently announced, Tapia is co-producing alongside former boxer and Golden Globe Winning Actor Mickey Rourke to film "Mi Vida Loca", a movie about Johnny Tapia with Diego Sanchez portraying the late boxer.
Tapia & Sanchez Promotions, the co-promoter, is run by Teresa Tapia and UFC Hall of Fame fighter, Diego Sanchez. Together they collaborated to bring this event to live stream on Tapia TV.
