StockX co-founder Josh Luber joins Social Leverage’s Howard Lindzon for another episode of Investing for Profit and Joy. In an interview with British GQ, Josh said “we’ve literally taken the stock market and applied it from financial assets to consumer goods. We didn’t make any of this up. All we’ve done, every step of the way, is just copy how the stock market works.”
Josh co-founded the Detroit-based company in 2016, and it now has a $1 billion-plus valuation. StockX is a stock market for everything from sneakers to streetwear to collectables where customers participate in a live ‘bid/ask’ marketplace. Profits happen in seconds. StockX is basically like eBay’s cool older brother.
