Cwtch Box Pledges 100 Free Gift Boxes to Key Workers

Cwtch Box has pledged to give away 100 gift boxes to key workers and their families. The luxury gift box company founded by Sean Lade, and named after the Welsh word for “hug,” is working with local businesses across Pembrokeshire. Their gift boxes contain a sampling of local products including nuts, cookies, chocolate, dips, juice, and more. Their boxes will benefit the key workers of south Wales and inspire its residents to shop locally. Cwtch Box has a £5000 fund and will be giving away boxes on Facebook until supplies run out. Recipients need to be nominated and a random drawing will decide the winners. Fans of the Cwtch Box will soon be able to sign up for a subscription to have them delivered. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Pembrokeshire, UK, 22 June 2020 — Sean Lade, owner of the luxury gift box company Cwtch Box, has pledged to give away 100 gift boxes to key workers and their families.

Each Cwtch Box contains locally-sourced, premium products like nuts, cookies, chocolate, dips, juice, and more! Lade said he also hopes to showcase the fantastic local businesses around Pembrokeshire and inspire people to shop locally.

“The response from local businesses has been great so far. Many have donated to the cause,” said Lade. “We hope to bring more local businesses aboard to help support our key workers.”

The Pembrokeshire gift box is currently filled with goods from many local businesses including the Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company, Tan Y Castell, Upton Farm, and Pembrokeshire Chilli Farm.

“It’s great to be involved with a company bringing a little bit of comfort to the people that matter,” said Keith Adie, owner of Upton Farm, one of the participating Pembrokeshire businesses.

The 100 boxes will be given away on Facebook (@Cwtch Box) and Instagram (@Cwtchbox.Wales) based on nominations and a random drawing.

“We have a starting fund of £5000 and we’ll be giving away boxes until supplies run out,” said Lade. “Cwtch is the Welsh word for ‘cuddle’ or ‘hug’ and that’s what we’re trying to give these key workers.”
