Latino Leaders Network to Host First Virtual Tribute to Mayors, Moderated by CBS News Contributor Maria Elena Salinas

WASHINGTON - June 10, 2020 - PRLog -- The Latino Leaders Network (LLN), a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing leaders together, will virtually convene mayors from across the country to honor Miami Mayor Francis Suarez with the Antonio Villaraigosa Leadership Award at the 33rd Tribute to Mayors on Friday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST via livestream at www.facebook.com/LatinoLeadersNetwork/. CBS News Contributor Maria Elena Salinas will moderate a one-on-one conversation with Mayor Suarez. Mickey Ibarra will host the program. U.S. Conference of Mayors President Bryan Barnett and The Honorable Antonio Villaraigosa will deliver special remarks.

Bank of America, Walmart and Southwest Airlines are sponsors.

The Latino Leaders Network convenes the Tribute to Mayors during the winter and summer meetings of the U.S. Conference of Mayors to honor a mayor who is bringing their community together to include the Latino community. Mayor Francis Suarez, City of Miami, and covid-19 survivor, will be honored with the Antonio Villaraigosa Leadership Award. CBS News Contributor Maria Elena Salinas will lead a conversation with Mayor Suarez focused on the importance of leading during a health crisis, economic decline and civil unrest in America.
