Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions today announced that Peerless Research Group and Logistics Management magazine have awarded Ryder with its 2019 Quest for Quality Award. Ryder customers ranked the company as “best-of-the-best” in service excellence across a number of criteria, including: carrier selection & negotiation, order fulfillment, transportation & distribution, inventory management, and logistics information systems.

“When you consider the ever-escalating demands on third-party logistics providers to keep pace with the growth of omni-channel fulfillment, as well as digitization across all supply chain operations, receiving a customer-satisfaction award like this is something to celebrate,” says Steve Sensing, Ryder President of Supply Chain Solutions.

In an effort to continue to improve on its omni-channel fulfillment solutions and meet customers’ rising demands, Ryder announced its e-commerce fulfillment solution earlier this year. The solution enables manufacturers of small to large parcel goods to bypass third-party marketplaces and take their products direct to U.S. consumers in two days or less. Ryder is also one of the largest last-mile providers of big-and-bulky goods, with Ryder Last Mile providing home delivery and white-glove installation to 95% of the U.S. and Canada within a two-day timeframe.
