New Martinsville Based Ohio Valley Premier Properties Co-owner Emily Shortall Has Been Selected to Speak at IMN’s Multifamily Property Management & Operations Forum in Dallas, Texas In March

February 22, 2019 - Ohio Valley Premier Properties seeks real estate investments in the Ohio Valley that provide recurring current income distributions as well as capital appreciation in a diversified portfolio of assets. Deal structures vary based on asset returns and value-add components. Key attributes of operating partners include: ability to provide proprietary deal flow through off market or lightly marketed deals, local knowledge and presence, providing value through due diligence, leasing, and property management.

Emily Shortall said, "I'm tremendously pleased to be speaking about this dynamic topic to such a significant audience.” Emily is an invited speaker at the conference's workshop aimed at better understanding how large scale multifamily property operators can increase rental revenue by rehabbing existing properties and using revenue management / price optimization software to maximize rent growth. Revenue management and price optimization have a long history in the airline and hotel industry. It isn't all for the benefit of the operator, either. Pricing efficiency in markets can trickle down to the consumer as well.

Shortall is recognized nationally within the industry as a dynamic property management professional with progressive residential and commercial expertise. After over a decade of experience as the Regional Vice President for Core Realty Holdings out of Newport Beach, California, Emily recently returned to her roots in the Ohio Valley. Emily has gained a national profile within the property management industry and has published numerous articles in both national and international trade publications. Emily has been a featured speaker at multiple Real Estate Management conferences. She was named as one of the “Top 30 Leaders Under 30” by the Journal of Property Management, awarded IREM Chapter #56 “CPM of the Year” in 2012, and “Regional VP of the Year”, also in 2012, by the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association. In addition, IREM awarded her the “Professional Achievement Award” in 2013. Goodman earned her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation in 2008 and her ARM (Accredited Residential Manager) designation in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Elon University and is pursuing her Masters in Real Estate Management.
