In 2012 a start-up called Quanttus set out to make a smart watch that could measure blood pressure around the clock. It failed before it could prove its technology. But the dream lives on, as Quanttus alums spread out to companies like Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Fitbit, Nike, Samsung and more.
