SG Blocks Names Scott Hill Vice President of Operations

SG Blocks, Inc. (NASDAQ: SGBX), a leading designer, fabricator and innovator of container-based modular structures, named Scott Hill Vice President of Operations. In his new position, Hill will work closely with the senior executive team to help oversee and implement day-to-day business activities and strategies. Hill will be based in Austin and New York.

Hill brings 30 years of experience in all aspects of the construction industry, including recent modular construction projects, to SG Blocks. He has overseen all elements of the industry including architectural design, facilities management and construction management.

Prior to his current role, Hill was Preconstruction Manager at Bravo Builders, LLC. Previously, he was Director of Pre-Construction Services at The Rinaldi Group. He was also formerly Principal at Barton Hills Construction Management, Senior Project Manager at O&S Associates, Inc. and Principal at Middleton Construction Management. Hill also held other positions in the industry at Simone Development Company, HRH Construction, Bovis Lend Lease, J.A. Jones-GMO and SL Green Real Estate. He has experience working on projects in the U.S., Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Mexico, among others.

Hill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the City College School of Architecture and Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the City College of New York. He is a registered architect in New York and Texas.
