The Sarasota home builders firm was launched after John saw the devastation of Hurricane Katrina firsthand during a family vacation in New Orleans. John comes from a large tight-knit family. His father is one of sixteen and they all live near one another in Ohio. John grew up in the concrete construction industry working with his father every summer. After high school graduation, together they created Wolterman Bros. Construction. It became a family affair with sixty employees, including his sister and brother. John is certified as a Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) Installer and Pervious Concrete Technician. He is also a Value Engineering Consultant and has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry.
